The Olympic Journey / Branding and identity

In order to celebrate the Olympic Games, iLUKA – a global sports marketing and hospitality company – promoted together with BP an exhibition called The Olympic Journey – The Story of the Games; literally a journey through time connecting all the editions of the Olympics. It was the occasion to re-live some of the most moving ┬ámoments in the history of sports and social experience. Given the extraordinary value of the content, we decided to go for a simple typographic logo, and to use powerful images from past and contemporary athletes to carry the visitors into the Olympic atmosphere. The exhibition was a huge success, and was one of the main attraction during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
